Windows source discovery & acquisition

Find the file.
Keep the story.

Start with a subject or URL. Search broadly, trace promising originals, save usable media, and keep its source and review context together.

SourceRush is preparing an invitation-based Windows private beta. There is no public download or signup yet.

One connected workflow

From a lead to a library item

SourceRush brings search, file checks, review and filing into one local desktop workflow. A result is a lead until the app validates a saved file.

  1. 01

    Start with the subject

Describe what you need or supply a link. Choose automatic discovery or manual source selection.

  2. 02

    Trace the source

Inspect promising candidates and their source context. A search result alone is not a usable download.

  3. 03

    Acquire with checks

Guarded acquisition reports failures and validates the local file before calling it saved.

  4. 04

    Review and organize

Use Temporary Review or direct filing, then find the saved file and its provenance in My Library.

Local first by design

Your files stay yours.

You choose the media destination. SourceRush keeps the catalog and settings in a separate Windows user profile, and exports a redacted diagnostic report only when requested.

Review before saving

Temporary Review lets you inspect a downloaded copy before filing it into your library.

Keep context close

Details retains source links, descriptions, attribution and rights information alongside your local file.

Optional reporting

The planned beta includes clearly disclosed, opt-in category reporting. Reporting is off unless a customer chooses to enable it.

Before you begin

Clear requirements, clear limits

Windows desktop

SourceRush is being prepared for Windows x64. The private beta is not open for installation yet.

Choose your tools

Some video workflows need a separately installed FFmpeg. yt-dlp is selected separately for supported downloads, and Deno is optional. SourceRush does not silently install them.

Source access varies

Providers can change, fail, limit requests or need their own access keys. SourceRush reports those outcomes instead of presenting a failed retrieval as a saved file.

Invitation-based private beta · planned

A small group. Real workflows. Honest evidence.

SourceRush is preparing a small private beta to learn from real workflows. Participation details and supported builds will be announced when they are ready.
